Yokum Creek
Bridge Replacement
Hwy 311, Blue Eye, Missouri

Crouse Construction Company, Harrison, Arkansas
From the east side.Hwy 311, near Blue Eye, Missouri crosses Tablerock Lake between Blue Eye and Green Forest, Arkansas.  This is a beautiful setting for one of our favorite kinds of projects.  Drilling and blasting in water.

Hwy 412 / 21S turning lane project for Crouse Construction.Crouse Construction of Harrison, Arkansas is the general contractor for this project.  We have already completed one other job with them and they are great to work with.  Dean Crouse owns Crouse Construction, Boyd and Bert are the project managers for the two jobs we are currently doing for them.

The existing bridge was/is a single lane bridge that spans the Yokum Creek area of Tablerock Lake.  This ongoing project will replace the bridge with a 2 lane version and will straighten out the approaches to the new bridge.

We at Dykon Blasting Corp really enjoy these marine projects.  We seldom get the opportunity to all work together on a project.  We are often times on many projects at the same time.  But especially challenging projects like this one, brings us all together.  It was made even more fun because the folks with Crouse Construction are really good to work with.

Currently, we have done one of the two underwater bridge footings for this project.  We are looking forward the next one in hopes of working with Boyd and Bert with Crouse Construction again.
