Pictured above are some of
the key people involved in the Kissimmee River Restoration project.
From left to right is:
- Rick
Luna, Foreman for IT
Corporation. Rick worked with the onsite Dykon crew
throughout the demolition phase of the project. His
help was invaluable and contributed greatly to the successful completion
of the blasting.
- Mark Nichols,
Project Superintendant for IT Corporation. Mark supported
Dykon every step of the way throughout the blasting phase of the
project. Whatever was needed to complete the project on schedule
was provided.
- Hank Yuan, Project
Manager for IT Corporation. Hank is heading up the entire
project. IT Corporation is moving an average of about 50,000 cubic
yards of material every day. Keeping such a project running
smoothly is certainly an impressive feat by anybody's
standards.
- Lou Toth, Lead
Scientist for the Kissimmee River Restoration Division of the South
Florida Water Management District. Lou has been
actively involved in this restoration project since the beginning of the
entire process. Lou also did an impressive job of setting off
three of the blasts is took to complete the demolition of the
structures.

| This project is extremely
well staffed and managed. The organization and implementation of the
methods used to perform this project are second to none. The speed
and efficiency at which this project is being completed is an awe
inspiring sight. It was a real pleasure working with such a
distinguished group of professionals. |
| A world of thanks goes out
to Hank, Mark, Rick, Lou and all the others who are not pictured here but
definitely had a positive impact on the successful completion of Dykon's
phase of this project. |
