This rock was blasted with "Open Cut" type blasting. The dirt was removed from the top of the rock, the utility lines were exposed so that we knew exactly where they were in respect to the blasting. The drilling and loading was done from inside a protective trench box. The shots were backfilled to prevent flyrock.
